Lemon Balm is a member of the Mint family. Known well to be a calming herb, assists to reduce stress and anxiety, improves appetite and eases indigestion. Equally great to attract bees to the garden, in Spring and Summer clusters of small pale yellow flowers grow where the leaves meet stems. With deeply wrinkled and dark green to yellow leaves. Leaves are similar in shape to mint leaves and depending on soil nutrients the scent and tones differ when you rub leaves together.
